Gerry Bertier

Gerry Bertier is the captain of the football team at T.C. Williams High School. He is initially seen as arrogant, but his true character is seen when he befriends Julius Campbell, a black football player on the team.

Personality

Gerry was a team leader/captain and the backbone of the Titan defense. He was very aggressive and pushed his teammates to work hard.

Aftermath

Bertier participated in the Paralympics and won multiple medals.

Bertier was killed on March 20, 1981 at the age of 27 in a second car crash involving a drunk driver.
